We were honored to welcome Mr. Sterling Lin, Chairman of the Taiwan Electronic Equipment Industrial Association (TEEIA), and Dr. Chen-Yuan Tung, Taipei Representative Office in Singapore, to our booth. Their visit reflected the strong support from Taiwan's public and private sectors for expanding the global presence of the country's semiconductor equipment industry.

While recent signs of easing in U.S.–China trade tensions offer some relief, new U.S. tariff policies targeting strategic sectors like semiconductors continue to create uncertainty. At the same time, the rapid advancement of generative AI and smart manufacturing is fueling a strong and growing demand for semiconductors, with applications ranging from consumer electronics and EVs to 5G infrastructure. With the semiconductor supply chain continuing its shift toward Southeast Asia, the region is becoming an increasingly critical part of the global ecosystem. According to industry forecasts, the ASEAN semiconductor market is expected to nearly double in size by 2032. This trend presents new opportunities and highlights the region's rising importance in global supply chain realignment.

Looking ahead, WEISUN remain committed to supporting the Southeast Asian market with high-performance equipment and expert solutions. We welcome continued collaboration with partners across the region and beyond, as we work together to drive innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in semiconductor manufacturing.
