WEISUN is actively enhancing its in-house manufacturing and assembly capabilities, aiming for digital automation and strengthening hardware and software efficiency improvements!

This year, driven by the ripple effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for equipment in Taiwan's high-tech industries, such as PCB and semiconductors, has surged. Almost all equipment manufacturers are inundated with orders, presenting a rosy picture.

Mr. Chen Wen-Han, the General Manager of Weisun Industrial Co., Ltd., noted that with an increasing volume of PCBs and finer circuit lines driven by expanding applications, WEISUN's drying equipment must continually advance in step with high-end industry requirements. He stated that the company's drying equipment will actively enhance its in-house manufacturing and assembly capabilities, aiming for digital automation and strengthening hardware and software efficiency. He pointed out that in the past, automated equipment relied heavily on manual labor, but now it's moving toward online support. In the past, modifying an oven required both hardware and software changes, but now, it can be done using IoT and the Internet. Previously, users had to rely on indicator lights for notifications, but now the oven provides real-time notifications when the process is complete. WEISUN's R&D team has developed its firmware, allowing the conversion of an oven into an AIOT (Artificial Intelligence Internet of Things) oven in just half a day. This new generation of drying equipment enables PCB manufacturers to enhance quality and align with new processes.

Mr. Chen emphasized that drying equipment is a highly customizable industry because standardized drying equipment struggles to meet the bottlenecks and efficiency required by various industries. Additionally, due to the depreciation of the Japanese yen, Weisun's drying equipment no longer holds a price advantage over Japanese competitors. To compete more effectively with Japanese manufacturers, the company is focusing on customization and complementing its products with a complete material handling system, including AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), connectors, arms, etc., to strengthen its product competitiveness. These drying equipment solutions, integrating advanced features, will be showcased at the 2021 TPCA Show, held from December 21 to 23 at the Nangang Exhibition Center. PCB professionals are welcome to visit Weisun's booths at J-406 (joint booth with Taiwan Harbor) and I-005 (Weisun's individual booth).
